Yeah, they were all Yellow: Asian Feminist Architectural Possibilities

Yeah, they were all Yellow: Asian Feminist Architectural Possibilities

This on-going collective inquiry aspires to mobilize possibilities of architectural agency so as to lead to a more inclusive future, through engaging with Asian Feminist specificities. Events of inquiries includes a 2023 panel at the College Art Association Annual Conference, seminars on the topic at Harvard Graduate School of Design and Cornell Architecture Art Planning in 2023 and 2024, and an exhibition at Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2023. The exploration interweaves history/theory and design, as well as individual and collective knowing. This effort has been presented at a symposium at Pratt institute School of Architecture in 2023, a panel at Society of Architectural Historians Annual Meeting in 2024, among other occasions, which can be considered as further broader collective engagement and reflection of the subject matter.
