"stock-a-studio LLC is an award-winning design studio focusing on architectural temporality/durability. They create large-scale cultural productions, develop change-ready material techniques and build architectures that consider our relationship to circular resources, aesthetics and products. stock-a-studio’s built and exhibition work has been commissioned by the US Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Carnegie Museum of Art, MOCA L.A., Berghain Club, Superblue Miami and Design Core Detroit among others. Their work includes a 3000s.f. experimental sound production and performance space at Dartmouth College in collaboration with T+E+A+M and they are the designer behind SOMEPARTS, a perpetually reconfigurable architectural kit."

Xavi [SHAH-bee] L. Aguirre is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at MIT, founder of the architectural design practice stock-a-studio LLC and Director of MIT’s DIS/ASSEMBLY design lab.
