Design as Protest

Design as Protest

"The Design as Protest Collective (DAP) is a group of designers who organize to dismantle the privilege and power structures that use architecture and design as tools of oppression. Co-organized by BIPOC designers, DAP exists to hold the built environment industries accountable in reversing the violence and injustice that architecture, design, and urban planning practices have inflicted upon Black people and systematically marginalized communities. DAP champions design justice: radical racial, social, environmental, and cultural reparations through the process and outcomes of design."
