Curating for Culture
Curating for Culture
Curating for Culture is a collective driven towards visibilising invisible histories through community engagement, critical interpretation, and creative collaborations. We are a group of diverse individuals passionate about cultural preservation who work in a care-driven environment. Our portfolio comprises capacity-building projects, research and dissemination efforts, and consultation for process design. The primary themes under which Curating for Culture strives to further its work, but not limited to, are: South Asia/India in the archives, beyond the institutional narratives, empowering the local and life in the day of an archivist or a curator. The fifth theme in-making is to look critically at the socio-politics of underrepresented narratives in popular histories.
