Consenting Cities Symposium

Consenting Cities Symposium

Consenting Cities Symposium was a “three-day-long conversation with a select group of international authors came together and engaged in inspiring and thought-provoking discussions at the heart of the Monash University XYX Lab’s forthcoming book Designing Gender Sensitive Spaces for Consenting Cities: Practices and Provocations (Routledge). While traditional symposiums focus on paper readings and Q&A sessions, [this] symposium values the formative engagement found through various discussion groups and workshops facilitated by XYX Lab researchers. Attending this symposium allow[ed] the selected authors to align their final chapters with emerging themes and discourses from the workshops.” The Monash University XYX Lab “leads national and international research in Gender and Place.”
