"Parenting friendly pop-up public spaces... [that] facilitate and enhance child rearing beyond the domestic sphere and personal networks by developing a new typology of outdoor facilities designed to engage children and their caregivers in quality experiences in public spaces... The project seeks to alleviate the lack of quality public spaces that allow for the expansion of nurturing spaces outside the home, which are useful as physical support for daily life activities, allowing for collective care and socialization and at the same time fostering bonds of mutual help. Facilitating proximity resources, public places close to home, on a neighborhood scale, to distances easily reachable on foot (300mtrs. approx.) for people in a special situation: infants, pregnant women, people carrying a child, elderly, disabled, etc."
